I am an assistant professor of psychology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I completed my Ph.D. in psychology at the University of Texas at Austin as a member of the Individual Differences and Evolutionary Psychology section. Broadly, I am interested in three related prongs of research: (1) the developmental structure and formation of individual differences in personality, motivation and ability, (2) the ways in which personality influences interactions with the cognitive world, and (3) the integration of a variety of methods to explore these questions.
